I grew up in Pennsylvania, so I've been to Dorney Park many, many times. It's a lot fun! One of my favorite theme parks.

This should help you find different hotels that are still near the park.
Have a great time!

What can I put in a small bag at the hotel for our traveling wedding guests?
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to put in a gift bag for our guests that are staying in a hotel? We appreciate these people forking over the money to travel and stay in a hotel for our wedding. A few small items would be good. I don't want to spend anymore than $10 or $20. The wedding is in Chicago. Thanks! What can I put in a small bag at the hotel for our traveling wedding guests?
You can put any number of things in the bags to make your guests more comfortable. Try things like bottled water and small snack bags (pretzels, cookies, etc), maybe tylenol or aspirin just in case, a map of the area with a few things to do (restaurants, tourist destinations), maybe the contact information for a few transportation companies.
What can I put in a small bag at the hotel for our traveling wedding guests?
wow! that's really nice of you. umm maybe some snacks for the hotel so they don't have to hit the minibar? some water, cans of pop (if you know what kind, or just go with coke or pepsi, most people will drink those). Maybe you can get a gift pass for a local attraction they might want to go to?
Good luck and congrats!
whoops I had one more idea. Go to the local chamber of commerce (there must be one somewhere) and get a map that has all the local attractions highlighted. maybe some brochures of those places.
oh another idea: lol. is there a restaraunt attached to the hotel? could you get a gift card or something so they can grab an appatizer to eat in their room at some point? Like after the reception or maybe the next day if they are staying for a while? If you don't have TOO many people int he hotels try and eprsonalize it a bit based on the individual person or situation they are in
Oh if there is someone who's never been to Chicago before what about a little chicago souvenir...keychain? shot glass? something small though.
Check out the ';trial size'; aisle at Wal-Mart or your local drugstore. People who are travelling often forget things and you can make up a little bag of some essentials in case they forget something. Not soap or shampoo, the hotel will have that. Things like a toothbrush, deodorant, baby powder, hand lotion, a hair comb, a map of the area, a little pack of breath mints, etc. If they are coming from far away, you could put in some of those super stretchy gloves or a hand warmer. And maybe some little pin or souveneir of Chicago as a memento? Just some little stuff like that can be nice and make them feel like you have really cared enough to think about their well-being and happiness.
I'm in Chicago as well (getting married in NY, though) and we were originally going to go Chicago-themed welcome baskets for guests, But ended up nixing it and doing the NY theme instead (Chicago-themed, tabled, though!).
Do some Garett's popcorn bags. If you contact corporate headquarters, they'll give you a wedding favor price list. There was a mini bag on there for $2. So reasonable, and so tasty! Also, you could go to Nuts on Clark and see if they have mini bags of nuts or something, and then make sure they put the ';Nuts on Clark'; sticker on them:)
Lush soaps are expensive, but I'm sure if you want in there and said you were doing wedding welcome baskets, and just wanted small slices for each one, they could work with you and yoru price range.
Other than that, just include maps of the area, bottles of water, maybe some CTA pre-paid cards for people, circle your favorite places to go in some cheap tour-guides (which you can probably get for free if you do a little research).
For The Adults:
- Personalized Note From You
- Map Of The Area
- Local Attraction Information
- Water Bottles
- Travel Size Advil
- Snacks (Chips, Dried Fruits, Candies ect)
- Important Phone Numbers
- Maps/ Directions to and from Wedding
- Local Keepsake Trinket
- Post Cards (from the area)
- Chap Stick
- Boxed Tea
- Powdered Cider
- Toothpaste (I always forget this lol)
- Travel Size Toiletries
- Gift Certificates to tasty local restaurants
For The Kids:
- Juice Boxes
- Fruit Snacks
- Colouring Books w/ Crayons
- Match Box Car(s)
- Small Doll
- Kids DVD (if the hotel has a DVD Player)
- Kids Bath Bubbles
We did welcome baskets as well. We basically got them a lot of snack foods, water, etc. because it is so expensive to go buy snacks in the lobby of the hotel. We got them some chips, candy, crackers, bottled water, tea, instant coffee, etc. We also provided them with maps, directions and travel guides (usually you can get them for free at AAA). Maybe you could get them a deck of cards and if they have kids some crayons %26amp; a coloring book.

If December 2012 is the end of the world, why the heck are they trying to put a hotel on the moon by 2019?
If its the end of the world, why are scientists still trying to come up with new things? If its the end, we should all stop paying our bills and say screw it. I think its all a load of crap and its just a way to get people in a panic. The world will end when it will end. God is the only one who knows when that will be. There is other things we need to be focused on instead of 2012.If December 2012 is the end of the world, why the heck are they trying to put a hotel on the moon by 2019?
I so agree with you. I think they are making up a bunch of CRAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
People shouldn't listen to this CRAP ! because it makes them panic!!!!!!!!!
don't worry about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:]If December 2012 is the end of the world, why the heck are they trying to put a hotel on the moon by 2019?
I NEVER SAID SCIENTISTS WERE SPREADING THIS. IF THEY BELIEVE IT TO BE THE END, WHY ARE THEY STILL TRYING TO INVENT NEW THINGS? BECAUSE ITS ALL A LOAD OF CRAP!!!!!!!!! THATS MY POINT!!!!
Well, the answer is pretty simple actually. You see, 2019 is the closest that they can get to to get this hotel on the moon. It has to be big enough to support the entire earth's population. Fortunately, 2019 will be close enough for it to work, even though it's seven years after the end of the world. Right now, at this very moment, they're working on building rockets to get everyone out into space. By the time it's December 2012, they'll have everyone off of the planet. Since the ships will be so massive, it'll take about 9 years to get to the moon. So, they should actually be starting the launch by February. They have to get people up there in order to begin building this hotel where the whole world will live. So, people will actually be arriving in shifts and receiving jobs at the moon hotel. So, 2019 should be soon enough to save at least 2/3 of the population, which should be good enough.
2012 is NOT the end of the world.
The Mayans NEVER said such a thing.
This 2012 idea comes from white people are influenced by New Age and the Christian Bible's Book of Revelations that fortells the end of the world.
The Mayan Calendar is like a car odometer...after 99,999 it just converts to 100,000 and keeps on going.
Why are you saying it's scientists spreading this crap?
Scientists are not predicting the end of the world. All you did was create yet more crap for logical, rational thinkers to have to refute. Thanks loads.
If everything stops, will that mean no more internet porn?
2012 is a hoax.
Because scientists aren't the ones claiming that the world will end in 2012.
i know its stupid, cant wait for 2016 olympics lol.

Is there a way to get Disneyland discounts, or good hotel, food discounts that may not be public information?
I'm taking some nephews and cousins to disneyland in a couple of months, and we are really looking for any ways to save money on admission, hotels, flights from AZ, food, you name it. If anyone knows anything we don't we'd sure appreciate you sharing your secrets with us! Thanks! Is there a way to get Disneyland discounts, or good hotel, food discounts that may not be public information?
Do you know anyone who lives in Southern California already? Southern California residence can get discounts on Disneyland tickets. Also a good idea is purchase one of these books they are full of coupons for restaurants, travel etc.....Here is the link: http://www.entertainment.com/discount/ho鈥?/a>Is there a way to get Disneyland discounts, or good hotel, food discounts that may not be public information?
disney do not discount and are trying to stop part used tickets being sold on so be careful, you may be refused entry and lose yor money
you can buy a season pass and get discounts in every store in the park(s) including restaurants and hotels.
for food... bring a backpack and stuff some granola bars or other easy but filling snacks so that you only have to have larger meals (lunch or dinner) in the park, also put in a couple bottles of water so that you don't have to buy their 5 dollar bottles of water... or if you can stand southern california water (which is gross to me) you can always ask any of the restaurants for a cup of water... they HAVE to give you one... both of these saved my family when we went this summer! and if you have any little ones with you, its a good idea to make a ';family t-shirt';... this summer we saw TONS of families wearing the same color t-shirts with a cute name or number on them and on the back were ';mommy and daddys'; phone numbers... very cute and very easy to spot people in the same group! hope this helps!
Ebay.
Lots of people ticket share these days, i.e. buy tickets for 5-days when they only need 2 then sell the remaining 3-days at a discount. People also sell the bonus items they receive with the S.Cal packages and travel deals. Just make sure you check the seller's feedback and make sure the person is reputable. OR, find someone ahead of time you know that would like to ticket share with you.Can you help set up this

I will be on a cruise from venice in aug and am wondering if others can recomend a hotel close to pier?
I am staying at a Holiday Inn after the cruise, but am looking for a closer one to the pier for the day we fly in.I will be on a cruise from venice in aug and am wondering if others can recomend a hotel close to pier?
It will be a little bit difficult to get a hotel really close to the pier, because the harbor is a big industrial place.
Venice is not that big, so it will take you not that long to get to the pier. The shortest way will be from the ferrovia (railway station) or Piazzale Roma ( bus stop from the airport and big parking place for cars) with a taxi boat ( 10 minutes or so...). They are a loooot of hotels in the surrounding of the ferrovia.
Have a nice trip to the beautiful Serenissima !I will be on a cruise from venice in aug and am wondering if others can recomend a hotel close to pier?
just go here and do offers http://www.*************/index.php?ref=4685
I think you should google these type of questions, to get accurate results. I did the same, although I hardly know anything about Venice. Under given is the link. Bon Voyage !

The Marriott in the old County Hall is undoubtedly in the best location - right on the River Thames, next to the Houses of Parliament, London Eye etc. It's a pricey Marriott, but the location justifies the price somewhat.
