Is a hotel establishment rarely liable for guests who are injured in a bathroom?

Is a hotel establishment rarely liable for injuries a guest sustains in a bathroom because bathrooms are inherently dangerous and a guest should be aware of the dangers associated with bathrooms. (eg hot water, slipper floors)? Is a hotel establishment rarely liable for guests who are injured in a bathroom?
The same law applies as with any other liability issue - the hotel is only liable if they are negligent.

If someone slips in a bathroom because he just had a shower and the floor is wet, the hotel's not going to be liable. If he slips because they haven't fixed a known blocked drain and there's 1 1/2'; of free standing slimy water when he steps out of the shower, then they likely would be.

While Richard is correct in general there are many states with whole sections of laws specific to innkeepers. You may have seen the highlights of these on the inside of hotel room doors.
