Most you need to be at least 18, some others 21 and still others 25. It depends on the class of hotel or resort you are planning on. I would contact the hotel in advance so you won't have a embarrassing moment and no where to stay.

Plus you will need a credit card.

Good Luck)How old do you have to be to rent a hotel in Puerto Rico?
it depends what city you are in

in san juan the capital probably 21

but if you go to like ponce or another city maybe 18 and you do need a credit card and some kind of ID
21 and have a credit card and a valid state ID.
my mom said 21
18 and a credit card should be enough, call the hotel reservations number to be sure.
