Is there an age requirement to check into a hotel? Like a travel lodge or something?

Me and my girlfriend want to train it out of town, to get away for a week end, but I'm to lazy to call and ask, so I'm hoping someone on here will know! (= Thanks! Is there an age requirement to check into a hotel? Like a travel lodge or something?
Most hotel require that the guests are at least 18 years old to book a room.Is there an age requirement to check into a hotel? Like a travel lodge or something?
if you are a minor, yes, but if you are with your parents, no need for any requirements
If its you and your girlfriend, then i presume that both of you are not minors. In that case all you require is the ability to pay for the hotel room and some form of identification.
Most hotels will not let people under 18 get a hotel room without someone over 18. When you rent a hotel room, you essentially enter into a contract, and most of the time someone under 18 can't be held responsive for a contract.
