Which hotel should I stay at Gold Coast, Australia that's near the theme parks and surfer's paradise?

I'm looking for decent cheap hotels that's near everything at Gold Coast.


Please suggest good cheap hotels that's near Dreamworld, currumbin, movieWorld, wetNwild, seaWorld and surfer's paradise.


What's a good way to get to these places that isn't expensive?Which hotel should I stay at Gold Coast, Australia that's near the theme parks and surfer's paradise?
I stayed in Gold Coast for a week last christmas! As many have said, seaworld is great but its not right in the centre of Surfers paradise, its a bit out. If you want a very close walking distance than i suggest a great hotel called Gold Coast international Hotel which i stayed in. If you look on the internet you can find all the hotels in gold coast for all prices and locations. That would be the best way to pick.

Seaworld resort is next to seaworld, but there isn't many accommodation options if you wanted to stay near Dreamworld/Wet n Wild/Movieworld, except perhaps caravan parks. There is many options in Surfers and the public transport-Surfside buslines, go from Surfers to all the theme parks everyday. This is the cheapest way to get to the theme parks, some of the shuttle bus companies that do airport pick ups also do theme park transfers, last i heard they were around $12 p.p.


Currumbin is a good 15-20 min south of Surfers and there isn't not much there, so your best staying in Surfers and catching the bus down there to the wildlife sanctuary or anything else you wanted to do.


My parents stayed at the Australis Sovereign resort last time they were here, it was a great location and breakfast was included, less than $150 per night, if you go to www.lastminute.com or www.wotif.com thats your best bet, plenty of information and photos.
There is the SeaWorld resort and that is really close to Surfers Paradise

Another one close to Dreamworld is the ';Gold Coast Holiday Park'; which i recommend because it is the cheapest on the area ($85) for a cabin ($170) for motel

Currumbin is about 20 minutes south of Surfers.





There aren't really any hotels near the parks. They are located off the motorway.





If you want somewhere cheap there are plenty of nasty places in Surfers. You can get a bus to the parks.

i stayed at the cosomopolitian and it's an apartment. it's in surfer's parsadise and it's cheap.... well the cheapest one there. there are buses that pick u up from the entrance and take u to all the worlds as well. it's great if u dnt have ur own car.
