If we wanna rent a room in a hotel do we have to pay for each person that's going to be in the room?

We're planning on going to brazil, we are 4 people, and we're going to rent a room in a hotel, do we have to pay for each person? If we wanna rent a room in a hotel do we have to pay for each person that's going to be in the room?
usually you pay for the number of beds in the room. one room with one bed will cost less than one room with two beds....and keep in mind that two people can fit on each bed.If we wanna rent a room in a hotel do we have to pay for each person that's going to be in the room?
yup...
Some hotels charge per person, some hotels charge per room. You have to check what each hotel's rates are like. But keep in mind that most hotels would not be very happy if you book a double room and 4 of you sleep there, actually they might not allow it.
If you wish to have enough keys and beds to sleep in.

When WE travel...(5 of us) we always check in a double room so that we have two beds...and we bring 2 of our own cots.

Unless theres a special for 5 people thats cheaper.

But we always ask the hotel first - some places don't care how many people are in a room (Mallorca) - one bed - one rate.
I work at a Hilton brand hotel in Ohio. We do not charge per person. Our rooms can accomodate up to 4 people per room and there is one rate. Sometimes we have large families check in and they need two queen beds and a roll a way bed. (cot) We do chagre $10.00 extra for the cot. You might want to ask the Guest Service Represenative when you call to book the reservations. Different hotels have different policies. Also, our hotel includes a complimentary hot breakfast with the cost of the room:)
yeah, you cant rent a single room for 4 persons. so u should bigger room which is naturally more expensive.
