Which hotel at Disney World would you recommend?

I'm taking my daughter to Disney World this summer an there are so many choices. They all look good to me. So I need one that has a great pool, location, cool looking, great rooms, and fun. I would appreciate your opinion. Thanks!Which hotel at Disney World would you recommend?
It mainly depends on your budget and what you can afford. You also didn't mention a location in the Disney World resort that you'd prefer to be in.

Disney has ';deluxe';, ';moderate';, and ';value'; level resorts.

I have stayed in the Polynesian Resort (deluxe) twice, Wilderness Lodge Resort (deluxe) twice, the Boardwalk Villas (deluxe) once, and the Caribbean Beach Resort (moderate) just once. Out of all of them, I would definitely recommend the Polynesian or Wilderness Lodge (at least if you would prefer to be located near the Magic Kingdom).

After having stayed in a ';moderate'; resort this past time, I would not back to one again after being used to the ';deluxe'; places. (Particularly so since the Polynesian has the monorail come to it, and the other resorts are dependent either on ferries or buses for most transportation.)Which hotel at Disney World would you recommend?
To make the best recommendation, it is always best to know the age of the child. For preschoolers (1-5), the Disney Value Resorts are always quite popular. Little girls love the 101 Dalmation Section of Disney's All Star Movies Resort. The dogs in this section are fun and some of them are as large as the 3 story building. This is a Value Resort, so you have very basic amenities including a pool, splash area, Food Court, game room, playground, and gift shop.

For older girls (6-12), Disney's Grand Floridian Resort %26amp; Spa is the most popular choice. The rooms are mostly floral print, with many themed after Alice in Wonderland. The resort has a view of Cinderella's Castle from the rocky pool with waterslide and beach area. This resort also has two of the most popular Character Dining Experiences at 1900 Park Fare. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort is the most exclusive resort at Walt Disney World.

Finally, if you have a teenager, Disney's Contemporary Resort is always a popular choice. This resort is a more Modern Resort, but has lots of fun activities for teens including Sammy Duvalls Watersports, monorail to Magic Kingdom, concourse with incredible view of Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom, and more. Disney's Contemporary Resort is also considered a Disney Deluxe Resort, so you have extra amenities compared to other Disney Resorts.

Truly, all of the Disney Resorts are fun! They all have unique themes and that wonderful Disney customer service. You cannot go wrong with any of your choices. I have stayed at all of the Disney Resorts (many many times) and love them all!

Have a great trip!
if you want to save some money but still have the disney atmosphere i recommend staying at a value resort. (between $82-$160 per night depending the dates of your vacation)

i think pop century is the best value resort. there are 3 pools and they all have different themes. the 50's pool is shaped like a bowling pin, the 60's pool is hippie dippie and shaped like a hippie flower, and the 90's pool is a square but it is supposed to look like the monitor to a computer. (it has a huge rubber keyboard you can walk on and play on outside of the pool.

there are huge replicas of icon from pop culture all over the resort such as a huge big wheel bike, mickey phone, a fuze ball table field, mr and mrs potatoe head, giant floppy disks, and a twister board that you can actually play twister on. (has a spinner and everything)

and the lobby is cool too. there are glass cases along the wall with different toys and electronics from all the decades.

they even have an arcade in the main building.

and the dining area is awesome too. the food is really good. and there's alot of variety.

its a great hotel for kids and adults.
All of the resorts/hotels are really good with great pools. If you don't mind spending around $300 a night I would stay at the Polynesian. It is my favorite. The atmosphere is wonderful they have hula lessons, Lilo and Stitch character breakfast, the luau and a great pool. You can see the castle and the fireworks at night from the pool area too. I also like Port Orleans French quarter and I like the All Star Movie value resort. There is really no bad resort at Disney, you still get all the perks no matter which you stay at. You can also visit all the resorts while you are there too. Pick one to stay at but visit the others and check out the pools, restaurants, shops and all.
If you can afford the ';A'; hotels, then the Polynesian is closest to The Magic Kingdom and you can see the nightly fireworks from most lake view rooms. Wilderness lodge is more ';kid friendly'; and is a quick ferry boat ride from MK.

If you are unsure whether to choose a ';B'; or an ';economy'; hotel, I think it's worth spending a little extra for the ';B'; hotel. The locations are more convenient, the rooms and amenities and pool areas offer more, and the transportation service is better. The Orleans and French Quarter are a good choice, being a convenient ferry boat ride from Downtown Disney.
You might want to narrow that request down, Disney has many hotels.

You need to decide if you want the expensive deluxe resort, a moderately priced resort or the cheaper value resorts.

You can go to allears.net and to see pictures, read hotel reviews and decide what is best for you and your daugther.

Personally, I think moderate resorts are a waste of money. They're the same size as value resort rooms and they're more expensive. The best values resort is Pop Century and the best deluxe is the Wilderness Lodge.
Port Orleans

It's styled after the French quarter of New Orleans. It has a pool with a dragon slide (the slide is his tongue!). The atmosphere is great and I stay there every time I go down. The food is great; there is a place at Port Orleans called Sassagoula that has a variety of choices on their menu.

It's really a lot of fun and is quite convenient to the parks (the buses will take you there). There is also a river and riverboat adjacent to Port Orleans where you can take a riverboat to the Marketplace or to a nearby hotel (Port Orleans - Riverside).

I highly recommend it; it's not too pricey and it is one of the smallest hotels they have in terms of rooms.

Have fun!
There are many Disney hotels that are great. Since you are bringing your daughter, I would recommend any of the All star resorts. (All Star Sports, Music, Movies, or Pop Century). Those are VERY kid friendly with great pools for kids. I would also recommend the Port Orleans resorts...Either Riverside or French Quarter. They have great pools, and they don't get as crowded as the All Star resorts. There is this big dragon slide at Port Orleans French Quarter that your daughter would get a kick out of. I know I did when I was little. I couldn't stay off it. I hope that all helped you out. Hope you have a great time at Disney.
I am a huge fan of the Carribean Resort. The rooms are the largest for the moderate category and they have so many pools. The mainpool has a fun pirate theme to it. They show movies some nights on the island and have dance parties and other fun stuff.

My only complaint is that the food court is kind of blah and the resort is so huge that if you are using the buses you may have quite a hike to get there.

I also like Pop Century for the budget category for the same reasons everyone else does! It is a good value for what you pay.

If you want to splurge, I LOVE Animal Kingdom Lodge. Nothing like watching giraffes having their breakfast right outside your balcony! Very cool pool area and just a super nice resort!
Budget can dictate a lot of this. Disney has three levels of resorts: value, moderate, and deluxe. This doesn't count DVC (villas). I'm going to give you *my* favorite picks for each.

Value: They're all pretty motel-8 in set-up (clean %26amp; good service though) and feel like a dorm room. Pools are bland and they don't offer much in the way of dining. If I had to choose one, I'd go for Pop Century.

Moderate: A step up from values, but still limited. I'd probably go with Port Orleans. French Quarter or Riverside wouldn't matter much. Fort Wilderness Cabins kick some major butt, but they aren't a ';true'; moderate, more of a cross between deluxe and DVC.

Deluxe: Here you are starting to see some truly well-themed resorts, great amenities and excellent pools. Poly is super fun, on the monorail, well-done. Wilderness Lodge is put together super cool, a quick boat ride from Magic Kingdom, close to all of Fort Wilderness offerings. However, the most unique, among the least expensive deluxes, and super cool with lots to do is Animal Kingdom Lodge.

DVC: Animal Kingdom Lodge area or Tree House Villas. What's cooler than staying up in a tree and having all the amenities of home?
stay on property at disney. there are a ton of options to fit many budgets. Plus they will shuttle you to the parks. You don't have to pay those parking fees.

Pop century is really cool for you kids (bright colors, neat structures, %26amp; big pool area)...good if you're on a budget

Orleans is really cool too %26amp; mid-priced hotels.

Grand Floridian is a really nice hotel. They have the disney character breakfast.
if you are going to disney then here are some helpful saving tipss.

1. stay on the grounds. if you stay on the grounds you can stay at a value resort($82 a night) and its the same price as a hotel off grounds. also if you stay on the grounds you can get the meal plan. and free transportation. theres also moderate($149 a night) and deluxe($240 a night).

2. Get the meal plan. this saves you so much money. you only can get this plan if you stay on the grounds. the meal plan is 40 dollers per person per day but this is a money saver with out a doubt. because with this you get a sit down, a snack, and a over the counter. The sit down will usually cost you about $250 for a family of four and an over the counter about $150 for a family of 4 thats if you dont get the meal plan.

3.if you stay on grounds you also get extra magic hours this means you can stay later and go early then other people and you can get on more ridesss. cause theres usually no line. (:

4. transportation is amazing there. the buses come about every 20 minutes usually every 10 minutes and they are labeled to where they are going and they take you there. they run all day. and there comfortableee.

hopeee i helpped.

also, heres a website if you want more information on everything

if i had to chose i would stay at at New Orleans French Quarters. i love it its just lie your on burbin street. its amazingg. theres a quart yard and theres also a boat that will take you to downtown disney and other places also its a smaller resort so its nicer. its the best one and ive been to disney many timesss.
