Any hotel close to the Singapore Sports School?

I am looking for a decent hotel near the Singapore Sports School, where my friend is being trained at. However, I haven't been able to find any except for the Hostel One66. Please help me. If you know the name of the hotel AND contact information I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!Any hotel close to the Singapore Sports School?
Singapore Sports School is located at the northern part of the island, and you would not be able to find any hotels nearby.





There is however one resort which is nearby which is The Orchid Lodge at Orchid Country Club:

However, it is quite pricey, but it is about 10 - 15minutes away from Singapore Sports School by taxi.





The other options available would be somewhere nearer to town like hotels in Little India, Jalan Besar etc., where from there, you can take the CTE to the school (however, travel time is around 25 minutes by taxi and can costs around S$15 - S$25, could be longer if you decided to take the MRT (train).

Also note that CTE is always jammed during peak hours you can see your traveling time increase to 30 to 40minutes (sometimes longer!) if you are traveling by road.





That said, hotels in Little India are far cheaper than The Orchid Lodge, and maybe better options if you only travel to-fro the Singapore Sports School say once per day.
