Is there BTS from Suvarbhumi Airport,BKK to Asia Hotel BKK? Or how much will a taxi cost?

If you arrive at the airport after midnight there will not be any Airport Express bus available until around 6 a.m.

Here are some links from Trip Advisor forum for taxi service and other transportation from the airport. Some of the links mention that the taxi desk is outside the arrivals hall, that has recently been changed to the bottom level (near Airport Express desk.)

Good luck.

*****Additional Details********

I'm arriving at around 5 pm. Is it cheaper for a family of 4 to take taxi ?

The price you pay for a taxi in Bangkok covers everyone not per passenger. One person in the taxi or 4 is the same price. So, 4 times 150 baht (price of the Airport Express bus) is more than cost of taking a meter taxi door to door!

Meter should start at 35 baht - check first. If all four of you are larger than Thais you might find a typical Toyota, Honda and Nissan taxi a little tight! Some of the space in the trunk is taken up by a compressed gas tank. You may have to sit with bags in your lap. At the airport there are some taxi cabs that are a little larger sized (sort of a mini station wagon) and when I have had one come in rotation they were the same price as a regular sized taxi. In ';downtown'; Bangkok a meter taxi is cheaper than a tuk-tuk for tourists. Don't bargain the cost of a ride pay the meter price. Also in downtown Bangkok if you need a taxi wave a MOVING taxi over. Sometimes taxi cabs parked outside hotels want to bargain the fare, especially outside expensive hotels like the Asia! (If you are into computers and electronics check out the Panthip Plaza Mall not far from the Asia on Phetchaburi Road.)Is there BTS from Suvarbhumi Airport,BKK to Asia Hotel BKK? The Rail Link from Suvarnbhumi Airport is not schedule to open for service until April 2010. Once it does open it could take you one BTS stop away from the Asia Hotel. However, you do have the option of the Airport Express buses like the other writer has mention but beware that the Airport Express buses stop running at midnight.

A meter taxi from the airport should cost you around 350 baht, including express tolls of 70 baht and airport fee of 50 baht. So a little more than $10 isn't that bad.

Is it cheaper to take a taxi? You do the math. express bus is 150 baht per person. Taxi about 350 baht for the family. It's a no brainer. But keep in mind if your family is as big as the front line of the Dallas Cowboys than you will have problems getting them in one taxi.Is there BTS from Suvarbhumi Airport,BKK to Asia Hotel BKK? A taxi can cost anywhere from 200 baht to 500 baht depending on the time of day, traffic, etc. plus there is a 50 baht airport fee and then a small tip for the driver.

Good luck
